GDAO Wraps Up Another Successfull Year As 2010 season draws to a close, the Orchestra has enjoyed yet another hugely successfull year. A few new members made their debut, with a few new instruments added to the lin-up. The Orchestra brought their music to hundreds of listeners right across the province, with performances throughout Larne, Belfast, Scarva, Newtonabbey, Carrickfergus to name a few. Performances for the 2011 season are not yet finalised, but rest assured they will be added to the web as soon as details are confirmed.They hard work doesn't stop there! The Orchestra will continue to put in the hard work over the winter months. In particular, the Orchestra will be returning to the Accordion Band Championships later this year. A competition the Orchestra has been hugely successfull in before, we can only hope that success continues for another year. Full results and reviews will be added when available. |
